At first blush the iPhone 4S may not appear much different than it's Apple brethren but take a closer peak and you'll see there's a host of solid upgrades to drool over. Start with the new dual-core A5 processor, the fastest iPhone yet. Move on to the iCloud based backup service, a significantly upgraded 8 megapixel camera and a voice activated response system that will literally answer any question you ask it. The Official release date is October 14th.
Why's it's cool: The Siri Voice Assistant is like standard voice control on steroids and the compatibility with Sprint will be nice for those who are locked into a provider but still want to go Apple. Some will argue this edition is just a tweener before the iPhone 5 is released but we say there are still plenty of Mac geeks who will be unable to resist. And with good reason, because this bad boy has a lot to offer.
